We understand that renovating your home, whether it be a single room or an entire floor, can feel like a daunting personal project. Over the past 23 years Cabinet Expressions has helped our clients clarify their goals for a redo or update to create custom solutions and bring those ideas to reality.
We think it’s important to keep our clients informed about all of their options during the design process – both design and materials. As a partner in the project we offer several directions and review the benefits of each solution so clients can make an educated decisions about their ideal room. Our 1,000 sq. ft. Bloomington design showroom also helps during the decision making process with our extensive surface material samples and full-size vignettes to provide an interactive experience.
The process of working with Cabinet Expressions contains six steps.
1. Complimentary Design Consultation
- Site visit made to client’s home for field visit and to measure the existing space
- Complete a Cabinet Expressions client-focused design questionnaire
- Confirm project budget and design goals
- Sketch out project parameters: scope, timing, and materials
2. Planning Your Ideal Space
- Multiple floorplan layouts are presented
- The various merits of each are discussed
- A final layout is agreed upon often combining elements from several different floorplans
3. Drawing Out Details
- Review comprehensive floorplan
- Select cabinetry, finishes, and materials
- Discuss various options and related costs
4. Finalizing Parameters
- Finely detailed line-item final proposal is presented
- Review responsibilities and timing
- Confirm final agreement
5. Scheduling Your Installation
- Final mechanical and electrical drawings are completed
- Construction schedule prepared and presented including start and target completion date
- Installation process commences and is completed including the coordination of all necessary trades
6. Perfecting Your Project
- Final walk through
- Punch list is created
- Finished to your satisfaction
